MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in the Emergency Department (ED) for a 10‑week assignment in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The position starts on October 5, 2026, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel‑employment opportunity with a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention; recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a wide range of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to urgent treatment.
• Understand and apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, addressing both physical and mental health concerns.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the specific position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute‑care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
