About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department, with charge RN and Level 2 trauma experience preferred. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing various emergency situations including but not limited to trauma, cardiac events, and stroke care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and provide appropriate nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and support for families.
- Perform emergency procedures as required.
Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
- CPI, PALS, TNCC certifications preferred.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department setting.
- Experience with 4-5 patient ratio preferred.
Schedule
- Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30).
- Expected to work 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks, and holidays as needed.
- No call duty required.
