Travel ER RN - $1,936 per week

About the Role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Lufkin, Texas. This assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 31, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Must be able to work various shifts including days, nights, and as scheduled
• Unit allows for some self-scheduling
• Requires working every other weekend and holiday

Required Experience & Skills

• 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Must know ECG rhythms
• Current nursing license

Required Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

Preferred Experience

• Experience with traumas, stroke, sepsis, congestive heart failure (CHF), and cardiac patients

Other Requirements

• Must not have been employed as full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
• BSN not required
• Experience with Paragon EMR system
• Ability to draw blood when needed (tech or RN draws)
• Capability to float to units qualified for
