About the role

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide quality care to patients in the emergency department. This role requires the ability to assess, triage, and manage a varied patient population in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and perform procedures as needed.
  • C Conduct triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
  • Monitor and manage patients experiencing critical incidents, including cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs).
  • Utilize isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; 3 years preferred.
  • Valid RN license in the state of practice, or must be pending with ETA clearly stated.
  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all must be via AHA).
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and CIC (Crisis Intervention Certification) preferred; travelers can obtain CPI if they stay longer than 3 months.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

4x12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of every other weekend and holidays required. Option to flex to 4x12 if needed/available.
