Travel ER RN - $1,825 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Ringgold, Georgia. This is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and will work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care according to physician instructions in a fast‑paced, urgent environment.

Responsibilities

• Document medical history and check for patient allergies
• Obtain vital signs and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, and administer IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds
• Cope with stress and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, ENPC certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience (1‑2 years acute care preferred)
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start
