About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for adults and children in a 119-bed community hospital setting.
• Work 12-hour night shifts for a 13-week duration.
• Utilize Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Perform triage and emergency room nursing duties.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a compact state.
• 2 years of recent emergency room experience.
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
• CPI Blue Card must be obtained within 30 days of start if not yet certified.
• Social Security Number and Date of Birth required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong triage skills.

Pay

Pay Rate: $1665.00 - $1751.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
• Shift: 12 hours, nights.
• Start Date: 9/7/2026.
