Travel ER RN - $1,703 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for an ER RN to take an assignment in Dover, Ohio. This assignment lasts 13.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 25, 2026. Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume Emergency Department setting.
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with acute and urgent medical conditions.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and in compliance with facility policies.
• Respond to emergency codes and rapid response situations as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department (ED) experience.
• 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying.
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submission.

Certifications

• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required.

Additional Requirements

• One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be considered.
• COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
• Facility does not accept any license hits.
• Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements; other travelers must be nicotine-free.
• BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Testing and Assessments

• PBDS Assessment is waived.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both assessments. Traveler will receive two attempts maximum to pass, otherwise assignment will be canceled.
