Travel ER Registered Nurse - $1,941 per week

About the role

The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse and a vital member of the care delivery team. This role is responsible for setting the standards for the level and quality of nursing care while managing and providing patient care activities for a designated group of patients and their families. The Professional Staff Nurse applies independent judgment, fosters communication and collaboration with team members, and demonstrates commitment to the nursing profession and the community.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
• Actively participate in quality improvement efforts within the department or unit.
• Utilize research and evidence-based practices to enhance clinical care.
• Apply the nursing process within a Relationship Based Care framework to create a holistic healing environment.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and families.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families throughout the episode of care.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in the work environment.
• Communicate effectively with peers and management regarding safety and quality improvements.

Requirements

• RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73.

This position involves a rotating shift of 12 hours, three days a week.
