Travel ER Registered Nurse - $1,841 per week

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. In this role, you will provide care to patients in a fast-paced environment, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15)
• Must be open to a minimum of 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Assess and triage patients based on urgency and severity of condition
• Start IVs and manage IV therapy
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care
• Document all patient care activities in electronic medical records
• Float between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency care setting
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina or a compact state
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH Stroke, MOAB required; TNCC preferred
• Strong skills in IV start, triage, and telemetry monitoring
