TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Worcester, Massachusetts. Start date: November 10, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel. Job ID #1515238. Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations, advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop; lift up to 20 pounds routinely, with patient moves requiring up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1.5 years (1‑2 years) recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
