This role involves providing exceptional patient care in an ER Holding environment across multiple patient age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Observation Unit. Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their care and any follow-up needs. Utilize critical thinking and clinical skills to manage emergent situations effectively. Qualifications Minimum two years of experience in an Emergency Room or ER Holding setting is required; experience in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry care is preferred. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS are mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Work Schedule This is a night shift position with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week.
