Travel EP RN

Role Overview: An Electrophysiology (EP) Lab RN provides specialized nursing care in cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including arrhythmia ablations, device implantations, and medication management. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately.Educate patients and families on procedures, pre- and post-care, ensuring informed consent.Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations.Administer medications, including conscious sedation, per physician orders.Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient responses throughout procedures.Respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed.Maintain sterile technique, prepare and troubleshoot equipment.Provide immediate post-procedure care, monitor for complications.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient-centered treatment plans.Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Recent experience as an EP Lab RN (minimum one year).Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures.Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail, and effectively communicate visually and verbally. Preferred Certifications: PALS or ENPC, RCES/RCIS, and additional licenses as required.
