Travel EP Lab RN Role Overview: Provides specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, assisting with arrhythmia ablations, device implants, and patient assessments. Responsible for pre- and post-procedure patient education, medication administration, monitoring cardiac responses, and ensuring procedural safety and sterility. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accuratelyAssist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implantationsAdminister medications and monitor patient responsesSupport patient education on procedures and recoveryMaintain sterile technique and troubleshoot equipmentProvide immediate post-procedure monitoring and careCollaborate with the care team to develop treatment plansAdhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Qualifications & Skills One year recent EP Lab RN experienceValid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certificationsCritical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skillsPhysical ability to move and lift equipment, work in a stationary position, and assist with proceduresAbility to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detailProficiency in basic PC skills and ability to communicate effectively Preferred Certifications: PALS or ENPC, RCES/RCIS, and other relevant licenses.
