Travel EP Lab Electrophysiology Technologist - $2,284 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia to hire an EP Lab Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech) for a 13‑week travel contract with possibility of extension. The assignment is in a hospital setting, 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts, starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with cardiologists to diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias)
• Assist with invasive procedures, including:
  • Electrophysiology (EP) studies
  • Device implants (pacemakers, defibrillators)
  • Catheter ablations
• Support patient monitoring and safety during procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• At least one of the following certifications:
  • RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist)
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

Pay

$2,076 – $2,284 per week (weekly estimate). Compensation depends on qualifications and experience. Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals. Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

13‑week contract with possibility of extension. 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. Start date: ASAP.
