About the role
Meda Health is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing electrophysiology procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care.
- Operate equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Document patient care activities and procedures accurately.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Electrophysiology Technician.
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized training program in electrophysiology technology.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment used in electrophysiology procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
