Travel Endoscopy RN - $2,712 per week

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Rochester, New York. The position is an Endoscopy Registered Nurse role with a start date of October 19, 2026, duration of 8 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts, and travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Work 10‑hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with days off varying based on department needs.
• Participate in on‑call coverage approximately 4‑6 shifts per month, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Float to the Pre‑Anesthesia/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) as required.
• Provide care for patients with procedural conditions such as pancreatic, lung, colon, and gastric cancers; polyps; Barrett's esophagus; common bile duct stones, strictures, and cancer.
• Assist with special procedures including EUS, ERCP, navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, manometry, and FibroScan.
• Use specialized equipment such as ERBE Olympus scopes and processors, Super‑D Bravo VCE (video capsule endoscopy), and manometry equipment.
• Wear navy and white scrubs as required attire.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement for all RNs.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Acceptance of first‑time travelers.
• Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility.

• Phlebotomy and IV placement.
• Operation of ERBE Olympus scopes and processors.
• Use of Super‑D Bravo VCE (video capsule endoscopy) equipment.
• Manometry equipment proficiency.
• Ability to work in endoscopy procedures (EUS, ERCP, navigational bronchoscopy, EBUS, FibroScan).
• Adherence to navy and white scrub dress code.
