This position involves a variety of responsibilities and provides an opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and advanced medical procedures. Schedule 10-hour shifts, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Days off will vary based on department needs; consistent days off cannot be guaranteed On-call requirements include weeknights, weekends, and holidays, approximately 4-6 shifts a month Float to Pre-Anesthesia/Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is required if necessary Patient Demographics The patient population includes those with procedural conditions such as: Pancreatic, Lung, Colon, and Gastric cancers Polyps Barrett's esophagus Common bile duct stones, strictures, and cancer Special Procedures and Unit Details EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) Navigational Bronchoscopy EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound) Manometry Fibroscan Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement for all RNs ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required This unit accepts first-time travelers Local candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Special Equipment Used ERBE Olympus scopes and processors Super-D Bravo VCE (Video Capsule Endoscopy) Manometry equipment Attire Scrubs: Navy and White Join us in making a difference in the lives of patients by providing high-quality nursing care in a dynamic and multi-faceted environment.Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #38220407.
