About the Role
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Lisbon, North Dakota. This acute care role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced ER setting, handling trauma, stroke, STEMI, and respiratory cases. The position requires strong teamwork, communication, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of acute patient conditions such as traumas, strokes, chest pains, and respiratory issues.
- Administer and monitor central lines and drips.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, including nurse aides, EMTs, and paramedics.
- Provide patient care across ER and Med-Surg units, with float to swing beds as needed.
Requirements
- Active license to practice as a registered nurse.
- At least 1 year of ER experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Clinical experience in Critical Access facilities is highly preferred.
- Willingness to float between ER, Med-Surg, and Swing Bed units.
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge nurse experience.
- Experience with Heparin and Levophed drips.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Self/team scheduling permitted.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
