Job Summary
The Emergency Room Nurse will provide critical patient care in a high-acuity environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings shift from 1500 to 0330, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Active or in-process New York State licensure (application date within the past 6-8 weeks)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification (prior to start date)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification (must be active or proof of class completion prior to start in the packet)
- Minimum of 1 year of specialty experience in emergency nursing
- Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience within the past 2 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in charge nursing roles
Additional Information
- IVS to OFFER Schedule includes Monday to Sunday, with no block schedules for any reason
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays (next available date to be confirmed)
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history details including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., are required for submission
- Reliable personal transportation required; vehicles should have all-season or snow tires from November through April

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
