Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,720 per week
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position available in a healthcare facility in Middlebury, Vermont for a 16-week travel assignment. This role involves providing acute care in a fast-paced emergency environment, with a focus on patient safety, high-quality care, and adherence to established clinical protocols. The position requires flexibility to meet the operational needs of the unit and handle diverse patient cases.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- AHA BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required prior to start
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or proof of class with date applied
- Minimum of 2 years of in-unit ER experience
- Previous travel experience required; at least one travel assignment completed
- EPIC electronic health record system experience from within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle recommended
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge nurse experience highly preferred
- Ability to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units is desirable
Additional Information
- Assignment provided by IVS
- No block schedules; work scheduled Sunday to Saturday
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history details (bed count, electronic health record system, facility type, etc.) required for submission
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- 36 hours per week
- Assignment duration: 16 weeks (09/14/2026 to 01/03/2027)
