Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) RN Location not specified. This role involves providing exceptional care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ER RN will manage a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, and will be responsible for handling critical care cases such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, and cardiac arrest.
Job Details
- Shift: 12 hours, evenings

Required Qualifications
- License: Current NY license
- Certifications: Active AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Experience: Experience in emergency department settings, including some pediatric experience, at least 2 years of experience, and documented travel experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge Capability: Highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Managing Patients: Diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.
- Specialized Equipment: Use of specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
- Medications: Preparation and administration of required drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, sedatives, TNK, heparin, and insulin.
Additional Information
- Floating: Floating to different units may be required.
- Scrubs: Scrub color is navy blue.
- Unit Size: Includes 64 beds, with triage, acute care, super track, trauma, clinical decision unit, and psychiatric beds.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
