Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,373 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Aiken, South Carolina. The assignment starts 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history.
• Check for patient allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (alternatively, 3 years of experience noted in the requirements list).
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, CPI certifications.
• Any additional certifications that may be required before beginning the assignment.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week.
