Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,360 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in the Maine area. This position involves providing critical care and emergency services in a busy and evolving ED environment. The role requires adapting to workflow changes due to ongoing facility construction and supporting a team-oriented atmosphere focused on patient safety and quality care.

Schedule

Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
• NICH (National Institute of Health Certification)
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred; 1 year of travel experience required

• Experience with emergency and critical care patients
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Team approach personality
• Flexibility and professionalism in attire

Additional Information

The ED is a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center, currently under construction, requiring flexibility to adapt to workflow changes. There are 20 beds planned, including 3 behavioral health beds within a secured unit, and 2 triage rooms. The unit emphasizes teamwork, excellent communication, and documentation skills.
