This role involves participation in patient and family education and provides leadership by collaborating with other nursing and healthcare personnel. The RN is responsible for maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse recognizes the uniqueness of each patient, ensuring the right to quality nursing care through mutual goal setting. The RN is responsible for protecting patient rights and privacy and is accountable to the ethical and professional standards set by various regulatory and professional organizations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate total nursing care for ER patients. Participate in patient and family teaching. Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and patient team personnel. Protect patient rights and privacy at all times. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department required. Certification in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and BLS (AHA). Active Michigan state nursing license at the time of submission. Work Requirements 36-hour guaranteed schedule. Weekend shifts are required. No on-call responsibilities.
