Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Tyndall, South Dakota. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, rotating. Employment Type: Travel. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting. The successful candidate will develop nursing diagnoses, establish nursing care objectives, and implement nursing interventions to provide comprehensive physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families. Responsibilities
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized patient care plans based on nursing diagnoses.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Monitor and note changing patient conditions and needs, re-evaluating care objectives as necessary.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Active South Dakota or Compact Registered Nurse license.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and TNCC.
- COVID-19 vaccination is highly preferred.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12‑hour shifts, rotating (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
- On‑call responsibilities as scheduled
