Emergency Room (ER) nurse position available in a healthcare facility located in a designated zone with a 60-mile radius coverage area. The role involves providing acute care in an emergency setting, with responsibilities including rapid assessment and stabilization of patients. The assignment runs from September 14, 2026, to December 14, 2026, primarily during night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care in an emergency setting
- Perform rapid assessment and stabilization of patients
- Float between two zone locations and potentially to other sites within the zone depending on census needs
- May be asked to float to another location mid-shift, with paid travel time, or in a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Sitter capacity if census is low
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Two years of clinical experience
Schedule
- 13-week assignment: September 14, 2026 – December 14, 2026
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Hospital may cancel up to four shifts during the assignment
