Job Summary

The position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy Level 2 trauma center with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The role requires a dedicated nursing professional capable of managing a wide range of emergency situations within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Location: Lewiston, ME

  • Schedule: Nights, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certification, TNCC (Required)

  • CPI preferred

  • 2 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage ventilated patients

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in non-trauma emergency departments

  • Familiarity with managing a broad range of diagnosis and treatments

Additional Information

  • This Level 2 trauma center features 4 critical care bays, tele-neurology services in cooperation with recognized hospitals, and utilizes electronic health records including EPIC and SBAR.

  • The unit serves patients from pediatrics to geriatrics and is equipped with ultrasound, bladder scanners, and neuro telemedicine devices.

  • No PICU is available; transfers are out.
