About the Role
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality acute care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The RN will utilize their clinical expertise to deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support departmental performance improvement activities.
Schedule
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- 13-week duration
- Start date: 08/03/2026
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Education verification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in emergency department settings
- Familiarity with multiple clinical locations within Janesville and Beloit
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Document according to standards of care
- Participate in department performance improvement activities
- Develop and execute patient plans consistent with physician directives and facility policies
- Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and quality of care
- May work at other emergency department locations within the area
