Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,220 per week

Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse opportunity in Breckenridge, Minnesota. This role involves providing acute patient care in a Level IV trauma, STEMI receiving, and Stroke designated facility.

About the role

• 13-week travel assignment starting 08/17/2026
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Facility is a Level IV trauma, STEMI receiving, and Stroke designated center
• Approximately 10 patients per day; ER holds intermixed within the ER (no separate triage area)
• Psych/seclusion rooms available
• Security not in-house 24/7
• No tele/monitor techs or in-house respiratory therapy (RT) 24/7; no call or standby instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment
• Troubleshoot equipment including Vents, Cpap, BiPap, and High Flow (no RT involvement in ABGs, breathing treatments, or EKGs)
• Float to medical-surgical and swing bed units on the same unit as needed
• Work every other weekend and holidays if scheduled
• Adhere to upfront RTO policy (no additional requests after submission)
• Comply with facility dress code: navy blue scrubs

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 2 years of ER experience and previous Med-Surg experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Must reside within 50 miles; cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with associated facilities within the past year
• Proficient with Point Click Care (PCC) charting system

Orientation

• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 12 shifts
