Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,210 per week

Job Summary

ER (Emergency Room) registered nurse position in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role involves providing quality emergency nursing care on a night shift basis within a busy 18-bed unit. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Appleton, WI
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (1900-0700)
• Start Date: 08/03/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks with possibility of extension
• Hours: Minimum of 36 hours per week, guaranteed
• Schedule: Nights (12 hours) with every other weekend rotation and potential holiday work

Required Qualifications

• WI RN certification
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Associate Degree or Certificate
• At least 2 years of ER experience
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
• Must be located within 50 miles of the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Triage experience
• Epic charting within the last year

Additional Information

• All RNs are expected to wear solid black scrubs across the organization.
• All ThedaCare facilities within a 60-mile radius are considered for float coverage.
• The position involves working on a busy 18-bed emergency unit with a patient ratio of 1:4.
• No on-call or callback responsibilities are required.
