About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position in Burbank, California. This role involves providing acute care services in a high-volume emergency department, working night shifts, and delivering quality patient care across diverse patient populations, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float rotation may be required between units within the facility
- Assignment requires working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care in a 24-bed emergency department that manages all emergency diagnoses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, social services, rapid response teams, and radiology
Requirements
- Valid California RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency room experience
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Neonatal Intensive Care (NIH), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Compliance with all credentialing policies
- Completion of pre-submission questions regarding previous employment at a similar facility, recent fire safety card, and references
- 12 hours of orientation training
