Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,195 per week

Travel nursing job in Duluth, Minnesota for an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN). This position involves providing critical emergency care in a Level 2 Trauma, Stroke, and STEMI center with a high volume of approximately 75 patients daily.

About the role

• 13-week contract starting 08/17/2026
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights): 0700-1930 and 1900-0730
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required (may include Labor Day)
• Float rotation may be required
• On-call and call-back may be required in response to low census (minimum 2-hour call-back)
• 36 hours of low census unbillable hours included in contract
• Scrub color: royal blue (no sweatshirts or hoodies)
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy

Requirements

• Minnesota RN licensure
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience
• At least 1 travel nursing assignment completed

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Department experience with both adult and pediatric patients
• Trauma center experience
