Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,155 per week

Emergency Room Nurse position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department setting, handling diverse patient types including trauma, psychiatric, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases.

About the role

This travel nursing assignment is for 13 weeks with night shifts, 12 hours per shift, and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The position involves limited floating, primarily to a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) or other areas within the healthcare organization as needed. The facility has 24 beds and operates under the program named MHS 2021.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting.
• Respond to diverse clinical scenarios including trauma, psychiatric, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases.
• Ensure patient safety and deliver quality care.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or MOAB.
• Must pass Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam.
• EMR experience with EPIC.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
