Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Spokane Valley, WA. This role involves providing critical care to a diverse patient population in a busy ER environment. The ER nurse will work in a Level 3 Trauma Center, delivering high-quality emergency care to patients with various urgent health conditions, including stroke, respiratory issues, and pediatric emergencies.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI or MOAB, NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of experience in emergency department
• Licensure appropriate for practice in Washington state

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with conscious sedation, chest tubes, and central lines
• Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC) and ED equipment

Additional Information

• Support on the unit includes techs with phlebotomy licenses, 24/7 ER techs, and radiology services for emergent cases
• Orientation includes one week of comprehensive training and skills check-offs
• The department has a team of physicians, nurses, and support staff providing around-the-clock care

Pay Package

Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
