Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,120 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse located in the region around Garden City, KS. This travel position involves providing urgent and emergent care in a busy ER environment, managing a variety of acute cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role offers the opportunity to demonstrate clinical expertise in trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other critical conditions in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment, stabilization, and coordination of emergent care
• Manage a variety of acute cases in a busy ER environment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver urgent and emergent care
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in trauma, stroke, STEMI, and other critical conditions
• Float within Zone 4, covering facilities around Garden City and Dodge City, KS

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Current certification in National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Current certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an ER setting
• Must be available for orientation in the state during the week prior to start date
• Experience working with common ER drips, medications, and advanced telemetry equipment preferred
• Must submit a license to work and provide a two-week notice to avoid a back-out penalty

Schedule

• Days
• 11.5-hour shifts
• Minimum of 34.5 hours per week
