Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Garden City, KS. This position involves providing critical emergency care in a fast-paced setting within an acute care facility. The role requires adaptability to float within the designated zone and adherence to clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care in a high-volume ER
• Float throughout the region’s emergency departments
• Support triage, patient care, and technical procedures
• Interpret tele monitors and perform disease-specific treatments
• Perform EKGs, ABGs, breathing treatments, and Point of Care lab testing
• Administer common drips and standard ER medications
• Chart using EPIC system

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ENPC or PALS
• NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification
• Minimum 0 years of clinical experience (2 years preferred)

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 34.5 hours per week minimum
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday
• Floating regionally within the zone’s ERs
