Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients
• Deliver urgent care
• Document all interventions using electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact accepted)
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• 1–2 years of recent high‑acuity emergency department experience

Qualifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (often preferred)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (often preferred)
