The Emergency Room (ER) specialty position is located in Lincoln, Illinois. This role involves providing emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of adult and pediatric trauma cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a focus on delivering quality patient care during high-acuity shifts.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start date: 08/31/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume ER setting
• Manage adult and pediatric trauma cases
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation and emergency medication administration
• Interpret arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Float rotation may be required

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Prior experience managing adult and pediatric trauma
• Proficiency in chest tube management and ventilated patient care (preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Orientation includes 36 hours of preparation before the assignment start date.
