Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Saint Albans, VT. This position involves providing compassionate and high-quality emergency care in a hospital setting. The RN will work a rotating shift with an emphasis on mid-shifts and weekend coverage, supporting the organization’s commitment to excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a hospital emergency department.

Requirements

• Valid Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency nursing.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
• Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Schedule

• Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week (72 hours bi-weekly).
• Every other weekend off.
• 8 hours of call time per bi-weekly period, with call pay at $5 per hour.
