Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages.
• Serve a diverse patient population across all ages.
• Remain flexible for float shifts as needed.
• Follow facility guidelines and dress code (scrubs of any color).
• Maintain an approximate patient ratio of 1:5 in a 34‑bed emergency department.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Virginia.
• Required certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), CPI/Handle with Care, NIH Stroke Scale (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).
