Job Summary
The role involves providing critical patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ER Nurse will deliver safe, immediate care to a diverse patient population, including psychiatric and pediatric patients, while demonstrating sound clinical judgment and documentation. The position requires collaborative teamwork and effective communication to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Certifications, education requirements, and/or degrees relevant to emergency nursing
At least 2 years of ER experience, including experience with critical care patients and prior travel contracts
Experience in caring for psychiatric and pediatric populations
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to escalate concerns appropriately
Knowledge of EPIC electronic health records (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
