This position involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department within a healthcare facility. The role requires delivering exceptional patient care from birth to death, with an emphasis on critical thinking, stamina, and experience in stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in a fast-paced emergency department
• Deliver patient care from birth to death
• Utilize critical thinking and stamina in high-pressure situations
• Manage stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of experience
• Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
• Certification in National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department

Schedule

• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week

Work Environment

• 32-bed unit
• Patient ratio of 1-4 or 1-5
• Use of critical care equipment
• Scrubs in any color (no hoodies or inappropriate T-shirts)
