Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,790 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) a high-acuity position located in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency patient care in a fast-paced setting with a wide variety of trauma and medical cases. The RN will be integral to the clinical team, supporting trauma, stroke, STEMI, burn, and other critical patient interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency patient care for a diverse patient population including trauma (gunshot wounds, stabbings, multi‑trauma, motor vehicle collisions), medical emergencies (myocardial infarctions, strokes, hypothermia, drownings, falls, cardiac and respiratory arrests, overdoses, psychosis), and specialized cases (pacing, ventilator management, sexual assaults).
• Support critical interventions such as trauma, stroke, STEMI, burn, and rapid response protocols.
• Collaborate with ED techs, unit secretary, charge nurse, 24/7 critical care pharmacist, paramedic staff, resource nurse, teletrauma monitoring, hospitalist, intensivist, and SANE coordinator.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
• At least 3+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience for first‑time travelers

Qualifications

• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, burn units, and rapid response protocols (preferred)
