Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,790 per week

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity in a facility located approximately an hour from Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves providing care for pediatric and adult patients with various diagnoses, including stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, trauma, and respiratory conditions. The position requires acute care skills within a dynamic emergency department environment, with a focus on patient assessment, critical interventions, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for pediatric and adult patients with diagnoses such as stroke, cardiac arrhythmias, trauma, and respiratory conditions
• Perform patient assessments and critical interventions in a dynamic emergency department
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, IV/VAT team, hospitalists, and ED physicians
• Utilize EMR system Epic, IV Pump Alaris, Med Dispensing Omnicell, Phillips monitors, and general med-surg equipment including tele monitors
• Float to all listed facilities within region as needed, within scope of practice
• Work approximately 75% of holidays

Requirements

• Active RN licensure
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026
• Nights shift, 12 hours per day
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• New Employee Orientation: 2 days in the department
• Request for Time Off: Up to 6 days off (excluding holidays) may be approved; additional time may extend the contract
