About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This 13-week assignment starts on 08/17/2026, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour flexible shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and effectively treating life-threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
