Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,427 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for an Emergency Department assignment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing assignment with one of our top healthcare clients. The position requires an active RN license and recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
• Be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues due to the range of medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required in some positions.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
