Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,298 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, treating a diverse patient population across various age groups and medical conditions. Shifts vary and preferences will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in an emergency setting
• Assess and triage patients accurately based on severity of illness and injury
• Administer medications and oversee patient treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document all patient care and interactions accurately in the electronic health records (EHR: EPIC)
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatments

Required Experience, Certifications & Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• 1 year of experience as an Emergency Room RN preferred
• Basic nursing skills with experience in trauma care and critical care preferred
• CEN certification preferred

Pay & Schedule

This is a 40-hour per week position with 8-hour day shifts. Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Start date is September 28, 2026, for a 13-week duration.
