About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Danville, Virginia. The assignment begins 11/10/2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues to address the range of conditions needing urgent treatment.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required for some positions.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting.

Pay
