Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,085 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in McAllen, Texas. The assignment starts October 26, 2026, lasts approximately 13 weeks (13.14 weeks), with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Meditech electronic health record.
• Strong triage skills and efficient prioritization of patient care.
• Comfortable managing patients of all ages in the ED.
• Assist in obstetric deliveries in the emergency room (preferred).
• Perform rapid sequence intubation and set up mechanical ventilation (preferred).
• Work effectively in a team nursing environment, communicating with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC.
• Experience with Meditech.
• Strong triage and patient prioritization abilities.
• Ability to care for patients across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
• Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma center settings (preferred).
• Familiarity with rapid sequence intubation techniques (preferred).
• Proficiency in setting up for mechanical ventilation (preferred).
