Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,052 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience to join the dynamic healthcare team at Doctors Regional in Corpus Christi, Texas. This is a 13‑week travel contract working night shifts in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality patient care in the Emergency Department, managing a ratio of 4 patients to 1 nurse.
• Perform emergency procedures such as STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI).
• Collaborate with a team of 5‑6 RNs and support staff, including ER Technicians and Unit Secretaries, on night shifts.
• Utilize an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for documentation and patient management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required).
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (preferred).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (preferred).

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 – 07:00, 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
